Hi, I'm David Richardson, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). Easthampton Massage Therapy is the result of more than 12 years of hard work, learning, and helping people. My massage is tailored to your needs, focusing on the areas where you need the most help. If you don't already know what kind of massage you prefer, I will work with you to help you figure out what works best for you. That is just part of the journey of massage!

I enjoy working with people who are experienced massage-goers as well as those who have never had this fantastic healing experience. Massage is more than a luxury, it is a necessity. When your body feels better it's amazing how other things may seem to be just a little easier or a bit less bothersome.

 

Many people that I've talked to who haven't had a massage, but are interested, have some amount of anxiety surrounding the whole thing. They may be nervous about their bodies or the undressed nature of massage work, or they worry that the work may not be completely professional. To this I would say: Good instinct. We need to be careful, in this day and age. I would also say that I respect all of my clients, as well as myself and my profession. Your privacy and modesty will be respected at ALL times. I leave the room so you can undress and situate yourself on the table, and I only return into the room after knocking and getting the all clear.

In short, I'm confident I can make you feel comfortable and secure. Please don't let this sort of discomfort prevent you from finding relief from your pain and tension. It is only when pain and discomfort are removed or put in perspective that we get the chance to really be who we are, to be fully there for those we care about and ourselves. THAT is what the world needs: More human beings who are present in their bodies and connected to themselves, making them more available to connect to others and more open to listening and hearing.
